Fiddler on the Roof in Concert: PSO/CLO Collaboration
This month, I was fortunate enough to do a week long collaboration with The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and
the Pittsburgh CLO to performed a staged concert version of Fiddler on the Roof. This production was done in
collaboration with CMU, Involving all of the current musical theatre seniors including myself, was directed by
Gestavo Vajac, music directed and conducted by Andy Einhorn, and assisted by CMU’s very own Rick Edinger. It was
so lovely to perform with Tony winning Shuler Hensley and broadway star Anne L Nathan, not only two wonderful
actors, but great people and Role Models, as well as reconnecting with Pittsburgh actors I have previously worked
with, and making new friends. Not only was the process enjoyable, but getting to sing in Heinz Hall with a 62
piece orchestra and a choir was absolutely magical and I was so grateful for the opportunity.
